The Complete Hmong Experience

Meet your local Hmong guide in Sapa Town before descending into the breathtaking Muong Hoa Valley, walking through spectacular rice terraces and traditional villages while your guide explains local farming life and mountain culture along the way. After a traditional lunch in Lao Chai, you'll visit the Hmong Living Culture Workshop, where local artisans introduce you to hemp growing, indigo dyeing, traditional batik, and hand embroidery. Rather than simply watching demonstrations, you take part in the creative process yourself and hear the stories behind every handmade piece. In the late afternoon, you return to Sapa Town to stay at Mai's Homestay, the first Hmong homestay established in Sapa Town.

After breakfast, you continue trekking deeper into the Muong Hoa Valley. Today's trail passes through peaceful rice terraces, mountain streams, and traditional Hmong villages before arriving at Ta Van, with your guide sharing stories about daily Hmong life, family traditions, rice cultivation, spiritual beliefs, and local history along the way. You'll arrive at Sue Homestay in the afternoon, with time to relax and take in the valley views before joining the family to prepare a traditional Hmong dinner together — a peaceful evening surrounded by nature.

You wake to the sounds of mountain life before entering the peaceful Boo Bam Forest, continuing on through bamboo forest and scenic trails to Giang Ta Chai, home of the Red Dao people. Along the way you'll cross suspension bridges, admire waterfalls, and take in some of the valley's most beautiful landscapes before reaching Su Pan Village, where your driver transfers you back to Sapa Town.
